Savita Community Ashram

Savita (Sanskrit for “sun”) is situated on a 100 acres of land (40 hectares) and overlooks the north Taranaki coastline of the North Island of New Zealand. It is 25 km north along the coast from the city of New Plymouth, and just over 1 km directly inland from the beach.
Savita is totally self-sufficient and has its own solar and wind, electricity and water supply, with gardens planted.. we have many small buildings
,also We have built a Dome Earthship, the first in New Zealand, It is a temple dedicated towards group enlightenment. All this is a starting point while the main earthship is under construction.
Once more established, Savita will be a life-centered team of people who could support it through the running of workshops, gatherings and retreats for those still seeking direction.
those that wish to join .. Either as:
1) TEMPORARY VISITORS:
Min. stay is one week. Work is in exchange for food and accommodation.
2) RESIDENTS:
An associate with skills to share for the forming of Savita. We have room for 2 more residents. This will be on a 6 month trail basis.
3) OWNERS:
You may join the Savita team as a lifestyle of freedom, communion and inner growth. After a trial period residents have the opportunity to buy a percentage of ownership of Savita.
Those who wish to have a Savita life must have BEFORE THEY COME

2.Have a passion for self transformation/enlightenment.
3.Willingness to express and expand your own unique, creative qualities into the betterment of Savita.
4.Have the discipline for spiritual practices alone and as a group.
5.Be willing to break out of separatism in oneself and as a couple.
6.Have the self values of deepest heart first, entertainment always second.
7.Adopt the values of TRUTH, LOVE AND SIMPLICITY as your way of life .
Savita is to be a gathering of truly dedicated people who have realised within themselves that the final leap is to combine one’s individual expression of spirit into a team where there are personal expressions of love, truth, freedom and healing. Such people would then be available to those who are still seeking.
