WOW a 100 thing to remind me of happiness (apart from the gorgeous inner and outer space and non space)
Laughs think I might take a few of these numbers and paint them to place on my ceiling for when I arise each morning. hehe painting my own stars ;)
Wow.Big list.It is definitely more plesant to experience feelings of joy, happiness and contentment.I appreciate the knowlege we have available now through books and video that offer practical methods of dealing with our not so pleasant emotions.Thank you Jeremy for posting some of these on this site.Maintaining emotional balance is possibly a challenge for many in these changeing times. If we are to wake up and align ourselves with this new light consciousness perhaps the darkness must be bought to our awareness and released. This may be experienced as fear,insecurity......instead of taking antidepressants or tranquilisers(most prescribed meds in the western world)which will only suppress and not heal the emotional pain,it is best if we wish to wake up to feel and deal with our stuff.Easier said than done sometimes.Ekhart Tolle provides good tools in his book the new Earth.Let us all Embrace the courage of the Spiritual Warrior within.Love and Light to you all.Bernadine
Candice Pert in her book Everything You Need to Know to Feel Go(o)d, suggests that every morning the are at least a billion brain cells waiting for your first thought. The first thought defines the state of the day and our body will simply follow along wagging its ever faithful tail.

I agree that maintaining an emotional balance is a real skill.
There is an analogy that in many forms of self awareness building we are walking into a dark room with a shovel attempting to shovel the darkness out. Take in a light and it simply dissolves, no yelling, no screaming, no looking at the navel or reliving the life of the darkness that once was.
Although I know it is a part of our social-religious belief system to have to relive the past in order to move on, I challenge that continually. Switch on a light and it just dissolves.

The strategy for a happy future... know what it is for you... believe in it... act as if...
